My name is Anton Cordes and I’m a sophomore Business Honors and Finance major from Austin, Texas, and I have the privilege of serving as one of the finance managers for Ben’s campaign. Being from Austin, I grew up rooting for that other school no one likes (don’t hold it against me), but after one visit to Texas A&M I knew this was where I wanted to be. Since arriving to campus I’ve gotten involved with a lot of different organizations including: the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Class Councils, Aggie Investment Club, Stumo, and the Interfraternity Council. I’m excited to be a part of Ben’s campaign because I truly believe he is the person Texas A&M needs to lead us through a time of change. With enrollment increasing, policy changes, and construction across campus (among other things), I believe we as students need someone who can listen to students voices regarding these issues and effectively communicate them to the administration.
