My name is Dawson Martin, and I am a Political Science major from Burleson, Texas, and a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2021! I feel blessed and excited to have the opportunity to serve on Ben’s campaign team as a Sign-Captain. Throughout my freshman year, I have been lucky enough to be selected as a member of FishCo (a Freshman Leadership Organization and the freshman subdivision of Class Councils) and as the Director of Corporate Relations for the Development Commission. I’m extremely excited to be a part of Ben’s team because I think the fact that he would take the chance on me as a freshman speaks volumes to his eagerness to hear every single student’s voice. In a campus that is growing and changing rapidly, we need a leader that will be a constant and unwavering voice on behalf of the student body, and I believe Ben is the perfect leader for that. In the short time I’ve known Ben, he has exemplified all of A&M’s core values- excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service. There is no doubt in my mind that Ben will excel in the role of Student Body President and give every student in Aggieland an undeniable voice.
