My name is Katina Economides, and I am a Political Science major from Houston, TX and I’m a part of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2019! I serve as Ben Johnson’s campaign manager, and it has been one of the most thrilling experiences! Also, I am a member of Delta Delta Delta  and currently serve as the Chair of Legislative Affairs in the Student Senate. I was a part of SGA’s Legislative Relations Commission and had the amazing opportunity to advocate for higher education issues in our state’s capital. I also had the privilege to intern for Congressman John Culberson this past summer in Washington, D.C. I am a third-generation Aggie. My grandfather was a part of Old Army and graduating in 1956 before my dad, aunt, and brother followed in his footsteps in 1989 and 2016, respectively. I knew there was no other university in the country who could serve me as well as A&M. During my time in Aggieland, I’ve been given numerous chances to further my education and serve this great university. The Build With Ben campaign is built around making a better university. There’s no doubt in my mind that Ben Johnson would accomplish this! He has taken every measure available to ensure that he can serve this campus best. All the characters that define Ben - humility, character, and leadership - have built him to be the best candidate for Student Body President. I am so honored to serve on his campaign and cannot wait for the entire student body to see and encompass the same vision as Ben!
